Meet Don

Trusted community servant.

Self-employed attorney.

Invested parent & grandparent.

Washington Township volunteer and public education advocate.

I currently serve on the Washington Township School Board and began my service in 2012. I am a father of three adult children who went through Washington Township Schools K-12: Greenbriar, Westlane and all graduated from North Central High School. I’m also now a grandfather of six delightful grandchildren. I’m a self-employed attorney who practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense litigation and appellate practice. I represent clients in civil lawsuits (primarily civil rights and tort litigation), in state and federal court, in mediation, at trial and on appeal. When I’m not at a school board meeting, school event or working on a case, I throughly enjoy being an involved and supportive grandparent alongside Grace, my wife of 37 years.

A Strong History

I have been and continue to be passionate about Washington Township.  Besides serving as a current School Board member, I have had substantial involvement in Township affairs that began long before I first ran for the Board. I became involved as a new parent and over many years I have participated in and served in leadership roles in Dads’ Club, PTOs at different levels, Parent Council and several District “Task Forces” and Committees.
